Composition:

Each 1gm contains:

Doxycycline  hyclate  346.24 mg

(eq. to 300 mg doxycycline base )

Properties:

Doxycycline is a broad-spectrum antibiotic belonging to the family Tetracyclines.Its bactericidal effect is exerted on a large number of Gram-positive and Gram-negative, on some Mycloplasmes, Chlamydiae Rickettsiae.  It inhibit bacterial protein synthesis by specific binding to the 30S subunit ribosomes which causes disruption of the binding of the tRNA aminoacetyl mRNA ribosome complex.

Indications:

• Colibacillosis caused by E.coli.

• CRD caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum.
• Fowl cholera by Pasteurella multocida.

Target species:

Poultry

Dosage of administration:

Oral use via drinking water.

Dosage:

For  whole product :

25-50 mg of product /kg.body.wt. for 3-5 days .

Warning and precautions:

This medicine does not contain any antimicrobial preservative.

Avoid administration in oxidized drinkers.

Contraindications:

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to tetracyclines or any of the excipients.

Do not use in laying birds. 

Side effects:

As for all tetracyclines, allergic reactions and photosensitivity may occur.

For longer treatments, digestive disturbances may occur by dysbiosis intestinal. 

Withdrawal times:

Broiler chickens : Meat: 10 days.

Storage conditions:
Store at temperature not exceeding 30◦C in dry place and used immediately after opening and reconstitution.  

Packaging:

500 gm of the product in opaque plastic HDPE container sealed with aluminum seal lined inside by HDPE plastic film closed by opaque plastic HDPE cap with outer label .
